The Studio
Rachel Indano Photography Studio
My studio lives inside the Guenther Mill - a historic silk mill built between 1902 and 1921 that once employed over 1,000 workers and produced women's hosiery sold through Lord & Taylor.
The original hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and industrial bones are all still here. I just added the hanging chairs, the plants, and the lights.

Modern but industrial living room

OR swap that out for a sleek acrylic bubble chair under a skylight

It's vintage and it's fabulous
A vintage corner that feels like it was pulled from another era - a tufted velvet sofa, record collections, oversized vintage posters, and curated props that give portraits a warm, lived-in quality you can't manufacture.

Finding the studio
The studio is a little sneaky to find the first time - but once you know, you know.
Look for the side of the building with the circular porthole windows. That's us.
The studio entrance is marked in the photo below head toward the small door just off the parking area on Berry Street. Parking is free on the street and in the lot right out front. No meters, no stress.
